HP PSC 900 Printer Review

Expert review of the HP PSC 900 printer

Our Verdict:
star
star-filled

For small offices or home offices, the HP PSC 900 is a good solution for printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs. This all-in-one printer features a flatbed scanner and an inkjet printer. It can be used even without a computer, thanks to the easy-to-use control panel and the monochrome LCD display. Expect the HP PSC 900 to be very bulky and the printing speed to be slow.

Design

The HP PSC 900 all-in-one has a flatbed scanner on top of an inkjet printer. It has memory card readers on the side, and supports USB connectivity. There is an organised control panel on top, complete with an LCD display. The PSC 900 weighs almost 20 lbs and has dimensions of 10.7 x 17.8 x 14.1 inches.

Advantages

With the HP PSC900, users only need one machine for all of their needs in the office or at home. It can print, scan, copy, and fax and can even function without a computer, thanks to the LCD and memory card slots. The HP PSC-900 delivers decent prints, scans, and copies without a huge outlay on ink and consumables.

Disadvantages

The PSC 900 multifunction printer is bulky and may take up a lot of desk space. There are many multifunction printers that can do more than the Hewlett Packard PSC 900, but for a bigger price. Print speed is rather slow and the only connectivity option available is USB – no parallel, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi.
