The HP PageWide Colour printer 755dn is a dynamic, security-enabled printer that includes a colour touchscreen display, easy access USB printing and automatic two-sided printing. The printer is designed for maximum uptime to avoid productivity pauses often caused by complex maintenance and irritating interruptions, and it can also secure your network with automated monitoring, software validation and real-time threat detection. While somewhat expensive, it delivers consistently high-quality images at a dependably fast turnaround rate.
Design
The HP PageWide Colour 755dn ink printer measures 31.6 in x 27.3 in by 18.4 in and comes with a 500-sheet standard input tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. The monthly cycle is 5,000 pages, making it ideal for use in an office environment. The colour touchscreen displays measures 4.3 in, and the printer also includes an easy-access USB port that allows you to print Word and PowerPoint files directly from a thumb drive.
Advantages
The printing speed of the HP PageWide Colour 755dn inkjet printer is one of its strongest attributes. Text print speed is 24 pages per minute, two-sided document print speed is about 13 pages per minute and graphics print speed is about 11 pages per minute. Image quality is always impressive, with high-resolution printing using glossy paper taking just over 20 seconds to produce a full-page colour photo. Printing on plain paper delivers sharp text, though there is a noticeable improvement if upgraded to higher quality inkjet paper. Graphics also print very attractively with smooth mid-tone graduations, accurate colours and sharp details.
Disadvantages
There are a few downsides to the HP 755dn colour printer. The startup time is slow, and the lack of a numeric keypad and dedicated buttons can result in some operations being slower because of more menu navigation steps.
