Ideal for offices and used by households that regularly require printing services, the HP PageWide Pro 452 DW is a stylish and efficient machine capable of speed and excellent print quality. Using HP PageWide Technology with pigmented ink, this machine offers a variety of features, including wireless connectivity, an effective display and multiple resolutions.
Design
Measuring approximately 53 x 40.6 x 37.8 cm and weighing in at just over 16kg, the HP PageWide Pro 452 DW isn’t the most compact of printers, although its size equips it for a range of jobs and document sizes. Operating four print cartridges, including black and one each of cyan, yellow and magenta, the printer has full wireless connectivity and can be used via HP ePrint, the cloud, Apple AirPrint and associated HP mobile apps, as well as Android software. In addition, the printer also operates via high-speed USB cables, should wireless functions be rendered unusable. The printer’s input tray can handle some 500 sheets, while its output is 300 sheets. A variety of paper types can be handled and the PageWide offers automatic double-sided printing.
Advantages
The HP PageWide Pro 452 DW has a variety of impressive features. In addition, it can handle up to 40 ppm for optimum quality in monochrome and 40 ppm in colour, producing the first page in less than 7 seconds. The printer’s duty cycle is up to 50,000 impressions per month, while the resolution sits at 1200x1200 dpi in draft, or 2400x1200 dpi for colour and optimized standard documents. Wireless connectivity and capabilities ensure that the printer is convenient and efficient, while many users report a significantly lower running cost, as well as high-speed print jobs.
Disadvantages
