The HP Photosmart 7760v is a faster and more efficient successor of its predecessor, which had paper feed and text quality problems. Though this printer is supposed to be a more improved version, it retains most of the previous model's design and inherited issues such as paper jams and incompatibility with newer operating systems.
Design
The HP Photosmart 7760v is a versatile inkjet colour photo printer that can handle both text and photo prints with maximum resolutions of 1200x1200 dpi in black-and-white and 4800x1200 dpi in colour. The speed is just right with the 16MB RAM installed. Prints can be further enhanced with the HP's image enhancement technology, which is called PhotoREt IV. Built for home printing, its paper tray capacity is 100 sheets, but there is an extra paper tray for photo paper. The HP Photosmart 7760v's monthly duty cycle of 3,000 pages is quite high, but it's not exactly designed for high-volume printing.
