The HP Photosmart D7363 colour photo printer is fast with a 4x6-inch photo ready in 14 seconds, and there are timesaving features that make it easier to print directly from memory cards, digital cameras, and mobile phones. However, the Photosmart D7363 inkjet photo printer lacks expandability and portability.

Design

The HP Photosmart D7363 photo printer has a sleek and futuristic design with a metallic finish and a compact frame that weighs 8.5Kg and measures 6.30 inches tall, 17.6 inches wide, and 15.2 inches deep. The paper tray can handle 100 sheets of plain paper at a time, while the output tray can handle up to 20 sheets of photo paper. The D7363 printer runs on 64MB of internal memory, and connectivity options include PictBridge, a rear USB 2.0 port, and memory card slots. The simplified control panel has one-touch operational buttons for quick and easy setup.

Advantages

The print speeds of the HP Photosmart D-7363 are up to 31ppm in colour and 32ppm in black and white. Photographs are produced sharply and smoothly in 4800x1200 dpi when optimised, while monochrome pictures are clear and detailed in 1200x1200 dpi. The HP D7363 Photosmart printer can read memory sticks, MMC, secure digital, XD picture cards, and compact flash cards, and it can print directly from a digital camera through a front USB port. Media handling is versatile from photo papers to US letter and legal sheets, cards, and envelopes. For a discount on Photosmart D7363 ink, it's possible to use cheaper compatible HP 363 ink cartridges in this machine.

Disadvantages

The Bluetooth adapter is optional. The internal memory and paper capacity of the HP D7363 printer aren't expandable. The display screen is awkwardly positioned on the HP Photosmart D7363 printer, making it difficult to view. This isn't the best device for printing text documents. The low duty cycle makes it impractical for more demanding environments.
