The Xerox ColorQube 8870 solid inkjet printer is a good addition to the small office that needs to produce mid-volume output, fast. With impressive print speeds of up to 40ppm in both colour and monochrome, the Xerox ColorQube 8870 colour printer can take on complicated jobs and produce creative-looking documents without compromising quality. However, the ColorQube 8870 printer is expensive, heavy, and is often criticised for limited media handling.
Design
The Xerox ColorQube 8870 solid ink colour printer doesn't stand out much with its boxy frame that resembles other laser printers from other brands, but it boasts a robust 1GHz processor running on 512MB of standard memory. The ColorQube 8870 offers USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity, with the option to integrate a Wi-Fi adapter. The small control panel is on top of the device and it includes a mono display screen. The paper tray is at the bottom of the printer.
