Designed for mid-sized to large workgroups with high-volume printing needs, the Xerox ColorQube 8880 has a high monthly duty cycle. It offers expandable paper-handling capacity and boasts quick print speeds. This model uses cartridge-free consumables, which helps in lowering running costs. The Xerox ColorQube 8880 can use a better control panel.
Design
This unit measures 406 x 521 x 368mm and weighs 27.4kg. The Xerox ColorQube 8880 offers a standard paper-handling capacity of 625 sheets but this can be upgraded to 2,200 sheets with optional trays. Users will have no trouble replacing wax ink on this unit, thanks to its easy shapes and colours system. The control panel on the unit comes with a monochrome display, navigation buttons, and function buttons.
Advantages
The Xerox ColorQube 8880 offers a maximum duty cycle of 120,000 pages per month. On fast colour mode, this model can deliver prints at 51ppm with the first page out in 5 seconds. With a maximum resolution of 2400 fine point, images are sure to have excellent details and precise colours. This unit has a 1GB memory but it can be upgraded to 2GB.
Disadvantages
Since the Xerox ColorQube 8880 is a base model, it does not come with standard networking connectivity nor a duplexer for automatic double-sided printing.
