The Brother DCP-J772DW is desktop A4 inkjet with a range of connected features that elevate it above many of the standard entry level home devices. Wireless network and mobile cloud compatibility allow support for tasks from smartphones via Apple AirPrint and print, copy, and scan functions to be completed on the move. The DCP-J772DW punches above its weight considering its small, compact footprint.
Design
The Brother DCP-J772DW weighs in at less than 7 kg without the carton added and has dimensions of 477 x 288 x 457 mm. There is room for 100 sheets of paper in the main tray and an additional 20 sheets in a photo tray. The latter may be useful as this device excels when producing vibrant colour prints on glossy paper. Every operation is centred around the 6.8 cm colour LCD touch screen, though users can also access a helpful mobile app for the majority of functions. There is support for automatic two-sided printing. Connectivity is limited to the wireless network interface and a single USB 2.0 slot.
Advantages
