The Brother MFC-J480DW all-in-one is a compact multifunction inkjet printer that's easy to connect to other devices. It can print, copy, fax, scan and offers wireless networking. Excellent Brother apps can be uploaded on the Brother MFC-J480DW printer, which can allow functions such as document capture and conversion. The only trouble with the DCP-J480DW printer is it has limited paper handling capacity.

Design

The Brother MFC-J480DW compact A4 all-in-one colour inkjet printer with fax features a flatbed scanner with an automatic document feeder that can handle 20 sheets. The control panel comes with a colour display, function buttons and a numeric keypad. The paper tray can handle 100 sheets at a time. The Brother MFC J480DW multifunction printer measures 15.7 x 13.4 x 6.8 inches and weighs 16.8lbs.

Advantages

Users can easily connect to the Brother MFC-J480DW all-in-one colour inkjet as it offers standard Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and USB. This model also offers mobile device and web or cloud app connectivity. Thanks to a PictBridge port, printing photos directly from cameras is possible. The Brother MFC-J480DW inkjet MFP boasts a maximum print resolution of 6000 x 1200dpi. With a high resolution and borderless capability, this model is ideal for photo printing. The fax machine has a designated memory to save up to 200 pages.

Disadvantages

Optional paper trays aren't available. The Brother MFCJ480DW colour multifunction printer can only handle 100 sheets at a time. The print speed is a bit slow at 12ppm for monochrome and 6ppm for colour.
