The Canon ImagePROGRAF iPF765 printer is designed for CAD/GIS environments to give impressive results, delivering high-quality output with every page. Ideal for medium to large workgroups, it features a 250GB hard drive, support for HP-RTL and HP-GL/2 files. Its exceptional line accuracy makes it a perfect investment for complex renderings, GIS maps, CAD drawings and large-format graphics. Its in-built accounting function means it is easy to track the cost per print and enables users to view the information through the printer driver. Canon's eMaintenance software automatically detects and manages mechanical problems and low ink levels linking directly to the Canon service.
With dimensions of 1304 x 877 x 1062 mm with the basket open, the Canon ImagePROGRAF iPF765 is slim and has a full front operation so that it can be installed anywhere, including against walls to save on office space. The integrated basket stacks A1 and A2 plain paper prints and the timer keeps you aware of how long a job will take until completion.
The Canon ImagePROGRAF iPF765 has a media mismatch function which maintains productivity in network environments even when a job is sent to print to different media than the one that is loaded, giving the user the option to cancel, print or change the media while printing other jobs in its queue. Also, downtime is decreased with the use of hot-swap ink tanks which allow cartridges to be replaced during printing. It’s easy to save ink by selecting economy mode, meaning printing items such as draft documents can be done economically. Also, the eMaintenance software is linked directly to the Canon service and detects and manages problems speedily.
Designed with the graphics environment in mind, workplaces which require more versatile printers would not be well served by this model.
