The Epson XP-900 uses Epson 33 ink cartridges. Epson 33 ink comes in black; the black cartridge prints 250 pages.
This Epson XP900 all-in-one printer from Epson would be a great choice for any keen photographers who wish to print professional quality photos at home. The Epson XP-900 is able to print up to A3, making it extremely versatile for home users, and also offers all the benefits of regular all-in-one computers such as the ability to print, scan, and copy all in the same place. The printer’s excellent connectivity also makes it future proof and means you’ll be able to use it from pretty much anywhere as long as you have your smartphone or tablet with you.
A fairly unimpressive looking printer, the Epson XP-900 nevertheless comes in a professional and chic looking all-black finish that means it is bound to fit in anywhere. Simple and easy to use, it has a tilting control panel with a 2.6in colour LCD screen and front-facing SD card slot and USB port, making it super easy to print photos straight from your digital camera. This printer measures roughly 18.8 x 14 x 5.8in and weighs an approximate 8.8kg.
One of the main advantages to the Epson XP900 is that you can print up to A3 at home. It also comes with individual cartridges so that you only have to replace the cartridges you have run out of, rather than replace an entire combination colour cartridge when you’ve run out of magenta ink. The print quality is very high with this printer, especially when printing photographs, and this is in part because of the Photo Black ink that’s used which makes for professional quality photographs printed at home. There is also a rear speciality paper feed from which you can print thicker paper such as card, or even onto CDs and DVDs.
There are few disadvantages to using this machine, although if you were only going to print off black and white documents, we’d recommend looking elsewhere.
