What ink does the HP Deskjet 3735 use?
The HP Deskjet 3735 uses HP 304XL ink cartridges. HP 304XL ink comes in black and in tri-colour; the black cartridge prints 300 pages and the tri-colour cartridge prints 300 pages.

Expert review of the HP Deskjet 3735 printer
The HP Deskjet 3735 is an all-in-one colour ink jet printer with the capacity to print, scan and copy up to A4 size. With a low price tag, it is affordable for a domestic setting. The wireless connectivity and mobile apps ensure access for the entire family, allowing printing from multiple devices. However, due to slow printing speeds, this printer may cause some frustration if it is needed for high volume printing. Although easy to operate, the initial setup is time-consuming and can be problematic. Unlike many other all-in-one printers, this device has no fax function.
Design
Measuring just 142 x 177 x 403 mm, the HP Deskjet 3735 is a compact device in a white and turquoise design. Print speeds are 7.5 ppm in monochrome and 5.5 ppm in colour, the print resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 1,000 pages. Paper is stored in an input tray with the capacity of 60 sheets. The device is operated from buttons and a small screen on the top of the printer. Connection is achieved via a USB or Wi-Fi.
Advantages
With a compact footprint, the HP Deskjet 3735 is easy to place even in limited spaces. You have the option of using HP Instant Ink, with cartridges delivered directly to your door when needed with a monthly subscription fee. With wireless printing and mobile apps, print directly from multiple devices including smartphones, ensuring that the entire family can easily use the printer. A quiet mode ensures the printer works without disturbing others.
Disadvantages
With slow printing speeds, the HP Deskjet 3735 is not suitable for those with a high volume of printing. Setup can be complicated and time-consuming. There is currently no option to pause your subscription if you don’t need your printer for a while, not ideal for students who typically have a couple of months over the summer where printing needs are reduced. No fax function is included with this printer although this isn’t a deal-breaker for many.
