The Brother PT-1090 is a portable labelling machine ideal for home use. This versatile device can also be used for school or the office. It offers endless possibilities with its excellent choices when it comes to printing styles. The portable Brother PT-1090 label printer delivers durable labels with self-adhesive backings, ideal for indoor or outdoor use. However, batteries and an AC adapter aren’t included in the printer package.

Design

The slim design of the Brother PT-1090 handheld labelling machine makes it easy to handle even with just one hand. This device has an integrated cutter and a large LCD display with 1 line and 12 characters. Function keys as well as ABC and 1-0 keypad is on the Brother PT1090 printer. The P-Touch 1090 label machine can handle tapes as wide as 12mm. It weighs 0.7lbs and measures 4.2 x 8.2 x 2.3 inches.

Advantages

The Brother PT-1090 handheld labeller has excellent and convenient features including time and date labelling, cable labelling, built-in memory to save up to 9 labels, and deco mode patterns. The Brother PT 1090 label maker can go as fast as 10mm per second and it can deliver prints at a resolution of 180dpi. This device can handle a wide range of labels from flexible ID to iron-on fabric. It has 178 built-in symbols and can multi-copy up to 9 prints.

Disadvantages

The Brother P-Touch PT-1090 label printer may have 9 font styles but it only has 1 standard font – Helsinki. An AC adapter must be bought separately, even the initial batteries aren’t included with the P-Touch PT1090 label machine.
