Robust and easy to use, the Brother PT-1260VP label printer is designed for users that require a portable and reliable label printer that can produce high-quality labels. It's an entry-level device for quick labelling requirements and is easy to carry anywhere, even in the toughest environments. Unfortunately, the outdated printing method isn't the best for printing lasting labels.

Design

The Brother P-Touch PT-1260VP handheld label printer has a one-line, 15-character display screen, one-touch operational buttons and a QWERTY keyboard that are all laid out in a neat and organised manner. The Brother PT-1260VP printer weighs 0.5Kg and measures around 6.3" x 6.2" x 2.4".

Advantages

It can print in speeds of up to 10mm per second at a maximum resolution of up to 180dpi. The QWERTY keyboard simplifies data input, while the display screen clearly displays the text before printing. The handheld design means the P-Touch 1260VP portable printer is handy and easy to take anywhere. The Brother PT-1260VP handheld labeller can produce up to 12mm wide laminated tapes and 15 deco mode patterns for decorative labels. Users may store up to nine of their favourite labels into the Brother PT-1260VP label maker.

Disadvantages

The Brother P-Touch PT1260VP label machine needs six AAA batteries, which can be expensive in the long run. It doesn’t come with an adapter, so users must purchase that separately. Thermal transfer print technology may cause the labels to eventually fade over time. The PT 1260VP supports only two font types. Brother discontinued making this label printer.
