Not much to recommend in such an old device. If you have one already, you will know how reliable Brother tape machines are, but maybe it’s time to upgrade your Brother P-Touch 2000 to a newer model . If you have excess stock of label tape, search for it on our site and use our compatibility list on the product page to find a list of newer models which can use up your supplies.
Design
The now aging Brother PT2000 portable label printer has a large LCD display that can show 16 characters and 3 lines. The genuine Brother P-Touch 2000 label tape which fits the printer comes in a range of sizes including 9mm and 12mm.
Advantages
The Brother P Touch 2000 series label printers use the same tapes as a number of other Brother printers so when moving to a newer device, you may not have to throw out your old tape. Brother has an excellent reputation for label printer, so the PT-2000 should give trouble-free printed labels for many years.
Disadvantages
Other more capable machines are now available with the ability to print in a larger number of sizes.
