The modern Brother PT-2430PC PC connectable label printer is praised for its portability. Not only is it easy to carry around, it doesn’t require software when used with a PC. The Brother P-Touch 2430PC portable label machine is USB-ready and is very easy to use. It delivers high quality and durable labels and can even handle 24mm wide laminated labels but print speed is a bit slow.

Design

The compact Brother PT2430PC label maker measures 2.6 x 7.4 x 4.4 inches and weighs less than 2lbs. It has a sleek design and has a white and grey colour. It has function buttons and an indicator light on top and print output comes out of the front of the machine. For connectivity, the Brother PT2430PC PC printer has a USB interface. A battery compartment, automatic cutter and AC jack slot is also on the printer. The Brother PT2430PC labelling system can handle tape sizes of 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 24mm.

Advantages

Labelling possibilities are numerous with the Brother PT2430PC. Ideal for mobile labelling applications, software for the Brother PT-2430PC P-Touch labelling system isn’t even needed to deliver labels. Installation of the P-Touch editor software can give full access to database and barcode printing. Disadvantages

The Brother PT 2430PC label machine may come with an AC adapter but the batteries must be bought separately. For an advanced label printer, print speed of 10mm/sec is quite slow. The P-Touch PT2430PC labeller has the same print speed as handheld labellers. Download data to unit and date / time stamp function aren’t available.
