The Brother PT-2470 is a labelling machine that uses a thermal printer. It has a decent print speed and delivers durable labels ideal for offices and warehouses. The Brother P-Touch PT2470 handheld label printer has many uses yet is easy to carry around and weighs less than a kilogram. The LCD display of the Brother PT-2470 portable label machine could be better for easier operation.

Design

The rugged Brother P-Touch 2470 printer has a rubber grip for easy-handling and protection of the device itself. It comes with a 16 characters x 2 lines LCD display with 5 levels of contrast and a 56-key keyboard. This handheld device measures 134 x 235 x 78mm and weighs 635g. A manual tape cutter and battery compartment is also on the Brother PT-2470 label printer. Tape cassettes with sizes of up to 24mm can be loaded into PT-2470 labeller.

Advantages

There are hundreds of possibilities for labelling, thanks to the excellent features of the handheld Brother PT2470 P-Touch label machine. This device has a total of 373 internal characters, 7 character sizes, 6 character styles and 3 character widths. Disadvantages

An automatic cutter would improve the usefulness of the Brother PT-2470 label maker. This handheld device only has one built-in font to offer. The P-Touch PT2470 handheld labelling machine has a decent print speed of 10mm / sec but this could also do with being slightly faster.
