The Brother PT-H100R is a handheld label printer suitable for domestic or office use. It can be used for labelling everything from cables to freezer contents. With the laminated labelling tape, it is also suitable for creating labels for outdoor use. It is easy to use and includes the option of storing your favourite designs for quick re-printing. There is a built-in cutter, but this does result in some tape wastage. This device is good for the creation of basic labels but does not have the variety which can be created with wireless devices. The device is easily affordable, but as it takes six batteries, the running costs can easily become excessive with frequent use.
In a stylish red and white design, the Brother PT-H100R has the dimensions of 110 x 207 x 59 mm. It prints up to 20 mm per second on labels of up to 12mm with a print resolution of up to 180 dpi. It incorporates a built-in cutter. The white keys are laid out in an alphabetical format, and an LCD screen is situated at the top of the device. The device takes six batteries.
With an easy to use design, the Brother PT-H100R is a versatile device able to print a wide variety of labels. Up to nine commonly used designs can be stored for quick re-printing. It can print durable labels suitable for outdoor use and features an easy to read LCD screen. The nine different fonts, frames, and Auto Design patterns are easily accessed.
There is some tape wastage with the Brother PT-H100R. It is only battery operated and requires six batteries which adds to its running costs. The alphabetical keyboard can take some getting used to for those more accustomed to a QWERTY keyboard. There is no internet connection, which limits the variety of the labels which can be produced.
