The Brother PT-H110 is a handheld labelling machine that will be useful in the home and the workplace. It can print labels of up to 12mm in width. With a wide choice of fonts, frames and symbols, it is easy to print unique labels to suit a wide range of purposes, including labels that can withstand challenging conditions. While the initial cost is low, it is powered by six AAA batteries, which do not last long. The alternative is to purchase a mains adaptor at extra cost, but this will limit the portability of the machine. The machine works well and is easy to use, though as the LCD screen is not backlit. it can be hard to read in some lights.
Measuring 111 x 204 x 58 mm, the Brother P-Touch H110 is light to hold and comes in black casing. On the front is a 16-character LCD screen for creating and previewing designs and a keypad with a Qwerty keyboard. It uses thermal transfer technology to create the labels and takes six AAA batteries. There is also an optional adaptor to power the device. Print speeds are 20mm per second.
The Brother PT-H110 has a special cable labelling function for labels to wrap around cables. There is a choice of fonts, frames and symbols to create unique labels. Quick-access keys can speed up labelling tasks. The machine can make laminated labels that are able to withstand chemicals, abrasion, sunlight, temperature and moisture. The preview function allows you to check the labels before printing.
Battery life on the Brother PT-H110 is limited and there is no rechargeable option. You can buy an adaptor, but this will cost extra and limits the portability. The LCD screen is not backlit, so it is hard to read in certain lighting.
