Expert review of the Brother PT-PC printer
The Brother PT-PC is a powerful label printer that connects to computers. It has a small footprint yet delivers durable and long-lasting labels that can be used for thousands of items from the office and even in homes. The Brother PT-PC PC connectable labeller is very easy to use but it doesn’t offer modern connectivity options.
Design
The compact Brother PT-PC PC connectable label printer can handle tape sizes of 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm or 24mm wide, and as long as 50 feet. It comes with 2 switches, a feed and cut switch and a power switch. The Brother PT-PC P-Touch printer also has an LED indicator light to show power or error. Using thermal copy lamination, it delivers labels with a resolution of 180dpi at a speed of 30mm / sec. An AC adapter is available for connectivity.
Advantages
With the Brother PT-PC labelling system, it can easily connect to a computer and offer thousands of options for labelling. Aside from symbols and texts, it can also print designs and graphics. The easy-to-use Brother PTPC label machine also has a fairly simple setup. It takes up little space on desktops and has ample print speed. The Brother P-Touch PT-PC label maker can deliver up to 7 lines on a single label and features an automatic date / time stamp.
Disadvantages
Connectivity for the P Touch PC printer is outdated. This model doesn't offer a USB port. The only way to power the Brother PT-PC is through an AC adapter. A battery option isn’t offered. This labelling device could be better if it had a higher maximum print resolution.
