Design
With drop in DK tape rolls, it’s easy to install and replace labels in the Brother QL-580N printer. What’s more, this model uses thermal transfer technology, so there's no need for ribbons, toners or ink. The Brother QL-580N thermal label printer comes in black housing and measures 5.2 x 9.4 x 5.6 inches. It can handle labels as wide as 2.4 inches and as long as 3 feet. The QL-580N labelling machine comes with a 3 colour LED control panel.
Advantages
The hard-wearing built-in cutter on the network-ready Brother QL-580N label printer can cut thousands of die-cut and continuous labels. This model can deliver a maximum resolution of 300 x 600dpi and features an impressive print speed of 68 labels per minute. With a large memory, 2048KB or 99 files can be saved in the Brother QL580N professional labeller. Barcode printing as well as date and time stamps are available on this label machine. Thanks to standard Ethernet, the Brother QL-580N network label machine can be shared by multiple users.
Disadvantages
Although Ethernet connectivity is offered, the Brother QL580N thermal label maker doesn’t have Wi-Fi. It doesn’t support mobile printing either.
