The Dymo LabelManager 300 labelling system is praised for its excellent features, making it ideal for shop floor and engineering applications. It can handle a wide range of D1 tapes and has a portable design.
Design
The Dymo LabelManager 300 desktop labeller has a clamshell-design, with the keyboard folding out just like a laptop. It features 15-character and 2-line LCD display and has a built-in cutter. At the back of the Dymo 300 electronic label maker is a compartment for the Dymo D1 label cassette for sizes 6, 9, 12, 19 and 24mm including types like standard, permanent polyester, and nylon.
Advantages
With 2 built-in fonts, 5 text heights, 3 widths and over 200 characters plus 6 barcode type and 6 box types, the Dymo LabelManager 300 labelling machine is very versatile. This model also has a Euro converter and incremental numbering as well as a fixed length option. It can print vertical, normal, italic, outline, and more prints. For a single label, the Dymo 300 LabelManager can print up to 4 lines. Other excellent features of this device include left / centre / right justify, lettering effect and background texture.
Disadvantages
This label machine is quite bulky and it could use a better LCD display. Batteries as well as an optional AC adapter are additional costs to the Dymo LM300 printer itself. The LabelManager 300 desktop label maker could offer more options for printing if it offered connections to a computer.
