The Dymo LabelWriter 330 is a monochrome label printer that utilises direct thermal technology to produce good quality labels. The printing method means you can do away with worrying about the ink levels in cartridges and ribbons and concentrate on creating your labels. The software makes it easy to custom design labels with a professional appearance. Print speeds are fast, but the device does have to be connected to a computer to work. Thanks to the small footprint, it is easy to find room for this label printer, even in a small workspace. However, if you intend to use this printer with an Apple Mac computer, be aware that some features may not be compatible.
Design
The Dymo LabelWriter 330 comes in a smart silver-and-burgundy design. On the front are the power button and an LCD screen. Resolution is 300 dots per inch, and print speeds are 16ppm. Connection to a computer is achieved via a USB or serial interface. It measures 5 inches wide by 7.25 inches deep and 5.7 inches tall. It uses direct thermal technology, printing onto a label roll. The device takes one label roll at a time.
