Dymo Rhino XTL-500 Label Tape

Design

In an eye-catching black-and-yellow design, the Dymo Rhino XTL-500 measures 14.4 x 40.8 x 36.4cm. It takes label tape ranging from 6mm to 54mm and prints at speeds of 28 mm per second. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery and can connect to a computer via a USB cable. On the front are a QWERTY keyboard and an 11cm colour touchscreen. There is an integrated carry handle for easy transporting.

Advantages

The small size of the Dymo Rhino XTL-500 makes it comfortable to hold. The colour screen gives an accurate preview of the label. It includes preloaded templates, saving time on formatting. With an automatic electric cutter and tape detector, this printer will improve efficiency. It prints a variety of labels, including barcodes and heat-shrink tubes, and with a PC connection, you can import your own logos. The keyboard is comfortable to use and feels like a computer keyboard. There is minimal wastage of label tape.

Disadvantages

The Dymo Rhino XTL-500 is a large device, not possible to hold in one hand. The design, particularly the touchscreen, is fragile. There is also a long gap between pressing print and printing commencing. There is no label grabber, so you need to manually catch labels after printing.
