Designed for all your labelling needs, the Brother GL-100 garden labeller has advanced functions yet is easy to operate. Designed for any type of outdoor labelling functions, the GL-100 is a great device for the garden and shed. The Brother GL-100 handheld labelling machine is quite versatile and has a lightweight design to boot. It operates on batteries although an optional AC adapter is available.
Design
The slim and lightweight Brother GL-100 label printer has a simple design making it ideal for one-hand usage. It has a clear monochrome LCD display and features a numeric keypad as well as an alphabet keypad. Convenient function buttons are also on the handheld device. The GL-100 label machine uses changeable and durable TZe tapes with widths of 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. The maximum resolution is 180dpi while print speed is 10mm per second.
Advantages
The Brother GL-100 printer has dozens of uses and is ideal for home and garden use. It has special printing options including vertical and mirror printing. This unit can print over 200 characters as well as 59 symbols plus it can print in five different type sizes and has 2 built-in fonts. To save on printing costs, the Brother GL-100 garden labeller can print up to 2 lines on a tape. Other excellent features of the Brother GL-100 include a text preview function, repeat printing and auto numbering, and shortcut functions for jumping to frequently used functions. Original Brother GL-100 label tape is frost resistant, as well as being heat resistant, rain proof and resistant to fading, making it ideal for use in gardens and outdoors.
Disadvantages
The Brother GL-100 garden label printer doesn't come with standard 6 "AAA" batteries, which is needed for it to function. The AC adapter for the Brother GL100 printer is also an additional cost. Manual cutting is required for this handheld labelling machine.
