Producing professional documents and smooth greyscale graphics, the Brother HL-1250 is a good laser printer for offices and homes. The Brother HL1250 has a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi and has a standard memory of 4 MB that can be expanded up to 36 MB. For connectivity, users may choose from parallel and USB ports; optional networking is also available. However, the Brother HL-1250 is an older model and has already been surpassed by new monochrome laser printers in terms of print speed.
Design
This device measures 360 x 370 x 235 mm and is appropriate for smaller offices. The Brother HL-1250 printer weighs 20.3 lbs and can handle 250 sheets at a time; an optional paper tray is also available to bring the maximum paper handling capacity to 500 sheets. On the control panel is an on off switch and 4 LED indicator lights. Print speed can go as fast as 12 ppm, with the first page out in about 15 seconds or less.
