The Brother HL-1440 is a good monochrome laser printer, especially for those on a tight budget. The HL1440 printer has a low initial cost and printing and running costs are affordable too. It has a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi. Sadly, the Brother HL-1440 printer only has optional networking options and print speed is rather slow for a laser printer.
Design
The Brother HL1440 has a 250-sheet paper cassette and an output tray that can handle 150 sheets. The HL-1440 laser printer can handle a wide range of media and can go as fast as 14 ppm. Power saving and toner saving options are available. The Brother HL-1440 has dimensions of 14.2 x 14.6 x 9.3 inches and weighs 20.3 lbs making it easy to place on desks or keep in storage.
Advantages
