The compact Brother HL-L2300D mono laser printer is ideal for SOHO-users. This reliable monochrome laser printer has high paper handling capacity, although optional trays aren't available. It has excellent output and can deliver monochrome prints at a quick speed. The Brother HL-L2300D black and white printer is very reliable and has a monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages.
Design
The Energy Star-qualified Brother HL-L2300D laser printer measures 14 x 14.2 x 7.2 inches and weighs only 15lbs. It runs on 266MHz and has a standard memory of 8MB. The Brother HL-L2300D has a simple control panel with indicator lights, print button and power button. A duplexer is integrated into the HL-L2300D for automatic double-sided printing. The Brother HL-L2300D monochrome laser printer also has a 250-sheet paper tray and a manual feed slot. For connectivity, a USB port is available.
Advantages
The print speed of the Brother HLL2300D can go as fast as 27ppm and it can deliver a maximum resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. The automatic duplexer can reduce paper waste in half. To further reduce running costs, the Brother HL-L2300D has a toner save mode. For professional-quality prints, the Brother HL-L2300D printer has a straight-through paper path – from manual feed slot to rear exit. Long-lasting Brother TN-2320 high capacity cartridges are available for use in the HL L2300D mono laser printer for cheaper output costs.
Disadvantages
The Brother HL-L2300D mono printer is only ideal for personal use at home or in the office, it doesn’t have networking connectivity. This monochrome laser printer can definitely save desk space but it comes with a price of having fixed memory and paper-handling capacity. Upgrades for the HL-L2300D aren't available. This device also lacks an LCD display for more convenient operation.
