The Brother HL-L2360DW uses Brother DR2300 toner cartridges. Brother DR2300 toner comes in black; the black cartridge prints 12,000 pages.
The Brother HL-L2360DW is a monochrome laser printer compact enough to fit on a desktop. It is best suited to a small or home office. With duplex printing as standard, and the option of toner saving mode, this printer can save money on consumables and benefit the environment. The advantages of wireless connectivity allows for printing from a wide variety of devices. However, as the printer has no colour printing or other office functions, it is limited in what it can deliver, and the print standard is let down by fuzzy graphic printing.
With a sleek black design and measuring just 37.3 x 18.3 x 35.6 cm, the Brother HL-L2360DW is a compact device. It is controlled from buttons on the top of the printer and a one-line LCD screen. Paper is stored in a 250-sheet input tray and there is a manual feed slot for envelopes and letter head. Connection is achieved via an ethernet interface, high-speed USB, or wirelessly. Printing speed is 32 ppm with a resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. The monthly duty cycle is 10,000 pages.
With its small size, the Brother HL-L2360DW is easy to place, even in a small office. It is easy to install and operate. It prints in duplex as standard to reduce paper usage and toner save mode can be used to save money when printing less critical documents. It has a wireless connection which enables printing from smart devices. It works reliably, even during periods of occasional use.
The Brother HL-L2360DW is not suitable for printing graphics as images appear fuzzy. Text printing is acceptable for most office use, but not for high quality desktop publishing. As a monochrome printer only, with no scan or copy function, this printer is limited in its uses.
