An all-rounder that has been designed especially for smaller offices, workgroups and organisations where space might not be abundant and the budget is somewhat small, the Brother MFC-L2710DW is a truly excellent choice that delivers on all levels. This multifunction printer performs to a very high standard in all areas, with printing, scanning, copying and fax capabilities all available, alongside a print speed of 30ppm in monochrome and automatic duplex printing. This model also has great connectivity features, with the ability to print from anywhere in the office thanks to built-in wireless and mobile printing.
Design
The Brother MFC-L2710DW measures roughly 410 x 399 x 318mm and weighs approximately 10.9kg. Like most Brother printer models, the Brother MFC-L2710DW features a sleek matte black finish that will look good anywhere, regardless of office or home office décor choices. There is a 16x2 character LCD screen, while the adjacent pushbutton control panel makes it even easier to use.
Advantages
This Brother MFP has a great many advantages to its name, with high productivity and performance at the forefront. For many smaller offices and workspaces, finding a high-performance multifunction printer that is both affordable and compact enough to fit in their space can be extremely difficult, but the Brother MFC-L2710DW meets these requirements. With a 250-sheet input tray, 120-sheet output tray (at 80gsm) and one-sheet manual paper feeder, this printer knows how to handle paper and won’t have you constantly replacing the paper in the input tray. It also promises a copy resolution of up to 600 x 600dpi and an optical scan resolution of 600 x 2,400dpi. It is capable of two-sided copying and scanning, and users can scan to email, image, OCR or file, while the printer standard resolution is 2,400 x 600dpi.
Disadvantages
While this model delivers on performance and productivity, the display screen and control panel could both be a little clearer and easier to use.
