The Canon IR-2016I provides a comprehensive suite of functions for workgroups and small businesses. It can print in black and white, while offering digital copying capabilities, while full colour document distribution is possible through the high-resolution scanner and optional fax. The Canon ImageRUNNER 2016I can be shared over a network, and features standard functions like automatic document feeding and auto duplexing. The IR2016I printer can only produce monochrome output, though, which may limit its usability in offices with colour printing demands.
Design
Measuring just about 26x27x26 inches, the Canon IR-2016I can easily fit tight spaces. It is designed for desktop operation, although it may take 2 people to move the machine around, since it weighs approximately 102 pounds. The Canon IR2016I printer has a 256 MB built-in RAM, which allows copy reservations of up to 5 jobs at a time. The unit can handle as maximum of 1,080 sheets, with the additional paper cassette. It features an auto duplexer and ADF unit, along with an LCD display for accessing various menus and functions.
Advantages
