Expert review of the Canon IR-C2025i printer
The latest in Canons IR range is the C2025i. Designed for businesses – the printer offers decent print speeds, great energy-efficiency and top quality print output. Unfortunately, what this printer has in terms of speed and quality, it lacks in the design and size department. However, if office-space isn't an issue, then this printer would be perfect for any size of business.
Design
The Canon IR-C2025i unfortunately fails to impress in terms of design, it looks extremely old-fashioned and out-dated, and with a dark grey finish and extremely large exterior it would not win any prizes for its looks. With dimensions of 565mm(W) x 680mm(D) x 928mm(H), it is extremely bulky; therefore it would only fit well within large offices, or schools/colleges. However, what it lacks in design it makes up for with its 5.7 VGA screen, making it extremely user-friendly.
Advantages
At a speed of 25ppm, this printer is fast and efficient, in addition to this it also has a quality resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The Canon IR-C2025i is perfect if you have lots of users or devices that need to connect to the printer - with two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet connection and Wireless LAN there's no limit to the number of devices that can connect.
Disadvantages
Canon haven't really put much thought into the design of the IR-C2025i printer – its bulky size only makes this printer practical if you have ample office space. Aside from that, the Canon IR-C2025i is a great all-rounder and offers good speed and quality at a reasonable price.
