The Canon IR-C3320i can be used for printing, copying, and scanning as well as sending. It features a modern control panel for easy usage. At the same time, it is built-in with advanced security options. This model offers flexible and expandable media handling to boost productivity. To reduce downtime, the Canon IR-C3320i uses long-lasting consumables and components. The speed of this multifunction printer is quite slow.
Design
On top of the Canon IR-C3320i is a flatbed scanner that can handle media as large as an A3. It even has an automatic document feeder. A WVGA touchscreen display is attached to the unit. This model also has in-house finishing and publishing capabilities. The output tray is in the middle of the unit, with the scanner on top of it and input trays below it. With optional trays, the Canon IR-C3320i can handle 2,300 sheets at a time.
Advantages
With a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, this unit can deliver professional prints with sharp texts and clear images. It has an automatic duplexer, which reduces paper waste. Standard networking connectivity is offered as well as modern USB interface. Another USB host is also available to allow direct printing from thumb drives.
Disadvantages
At 20ppm/cpm print and copy speeds, there are small multifunction units that have already surpassed the Canon IR-C3320i. Fax function is not standard to the unit.
