The Canon IR-C5550i provides business users with a seamless and professional level of functionality that can be adapted to meet the heavy demands of modern workplaces. This is a multi-function device that has the ability to print, scan and copy, as well as having the option of including a fax machine into the specifications. It has a maximum paper capacity of 6,400 sheets and provides an extremely high quality colour output every time. The Canon IRC5550i gives flexibility in the finishing style, including collating, stapling, hole-punching and booklets. It can accommodate a number of media types and sizes, such as coloured paper, heavy weight stock, transparencies, letterhead and pre-punched sheets.
Design
This is a freestanding unit, and as standard, it comes with two 550-sheet paper trays underneath the main printer and a 100-sheet stack bypass at the top. Users can add additional paper trays and high capacity units, as well as a finisher, to increase the capacity and capabilities. The printer is controlled and managed by a 10.1" colour touchscreen that provides access to all the functions of the Canon IR-C5550i and enables users to check the status of jobs and deal with any issues.
Advantages
The Canon IRC5550i produces high-speed print and copy jobs, with a maximum of 60 pages per minute, and as it can handle two-sided scanning in one feed it has a maximum speed of 160 ipm.
