The grey/off white plastic exterior features curved lines for a modern appearance with input and output trays designed in black plastic. A contrasting panel behind the Canon IR-C7570i’s user interface area combines a 10.1-inch TFT colour LCD touch-screen display with push-button control for ease of access to data input and print and maintenance information. The basic standalone Canon IR-C7570i weighs in at approximately 270 kilograms and measures 689 millimetres wide by 941 millimetres deep by 1,220 millimetres high. The basic unit requires an installation space of 1,913 millimetres by 1,524 millimetres, while the fully configured model with a multi-drawer paper dock, professional puncher, A1 input feed and booklet finisher requires a space of 3,818 millimetres by 1,524 millimetres.

Advantages

The Canon IR-C7570i can go from start-up or sleep to first-page print in 30 seconds or less and has a quick start-up mode of just four seconds. The unit can achieve print and copy speeds of up to 70 pages per minute in colour and monochrome (black and white) in resolutions of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dots per inch (dpi). The Canon IR-C7570i has a standard paper capacity of 3,550 sheets and a max paper capacity of 9,300 sheets when fully configured. The scanner can deal with resolutions of up to 600x 600 dpi, and single-sided scanning can reach an impressive 120 impressions per minute. Double-sided scanning can reach 240 impressions per minute in monochrome and 220 impressions per minute in colour.

Disadvantages

The floor-standing Canon IR-C7570i’s large footprint when fully configured means that it is not a great choice for offices with restricted space.
