The Canon IRC-1028i is a multifunction printer ideal for medium to large sized offices. The multifunctional IRC1028i from Canon can print, scan, copy and also has send capabilities. This device comes with standard Ethernet for easy networking. Print resolution can go as high as 600 x 600 dpi; print speed is more than reasonable, too. The Canon IRC-1028i laser printer model does not have built-in fax and could have been better if it had Wi-Fi.
Design
The Canon ImageRUNNER C1028i multifunction printer has dimensions of 546 x 527 x 632 mm. It has a flatbed scanner with an automatic document feeder on top. The control panel is well laid out, with full colour LCD display and function buttons. The entire unit is supported by the base where paper trays are placed. Optional cassettes are available. Meanwhile, the Canon IRC-1028i printer has a paper handling capacity of 350 sheets which can be expanded to 850 if required.
Advantages
The Canon IRC-1028i copier is a speedy printer that can deliver 28 ppm for black and white prints and 21 ppm for coloured prints. This multifunction printer delivers good quality output and has time and resource saving functions, including an automatic duplexer, ADF and scan-to-send function. Networking is easy with the IR-C1028i printer thanks to the built-in Ethernet.
Disadvantages
Because it is large and bulky, the Canon IRC-1028i colour digital copier is not suitable for smaller offices. This IRC1028i colour laser printer does not offer a fax machine either.
