The Canon i-SENSYS LBP312x uses Canon 041 BK toner cartridges. Canon 041 BK toner comes in black; the black cartridge prints 10,000 pages.
The Canon i-SENSYS LBP-312x is a monochrome laser beam printer that will produce good quality black and white documents up to A4 size at rapid speeds. It is designed for use in a busy office or workplace where the compact size allows it to be easily placed. The speed of the printer makes it particularly useful in client-facing work places, such as the retail industry or other fast paced environments. However, as most modern companies have requirements this printer cannot fulfil, such as colour printing, copying, scanning and faxing, this Canon printer is not designed to be the sole office printer, but rather serves as a versatile addition to a fleet of printers.
The Canon i-SENSYS LBP312x is a compact printer in a grey design with the measurements 409mm x 376mm x 275mm. Print speeds are 43 pm and the monthly duty cycle is 150,000 pages. Print resolution is 600 dpi. A paper cassette holds 550 sheets with the option of adding up to three additional paper cassettes to increase capacity or load with different paper size. The printer’s operations are managed from a ten key numeric keypad, five LED buttons and a five-line LCD screen. Ink is stored in all-in-one cartridges with the option of standard or high yield. Connection is achieved via a USB or directly from mobile devices.
The quick start up time of the Canon LBP-312x saves time, increasing workplace efficiency. The compact size makes it easy to place even in small offices. Operating costs can be kept low when using the high yield toner. The Canon PRINT business app allows printing to be done directly from smart devices.
As this is just a monochrome printer with no capacity for faxing, copying, scanning or colour printing, the Canon i-SENSYS LBP 312x is limited in its use and is likely to require the purchase of further printers.
