The Dell B1160W is a low-cost, easy to maintain wireless mono laser printer ideal for personal use. It is notably small and connects easily to wireless networks, which allows users to print without the need for a wired connection. The Dell B1160W laser printer offers good print rates and excellent output quality, at 1200x1200 dpi or 600x600 dpi, using default settings. It offers reliable duty capacity, and good enough input capacity. However, the Dell B1160W printer can only produce black and white documents and it does not support duplex printing.

The B1160W from Dell has a low-capacity input tray that can handle as many as 150 sheets of plain paper, while the output tray can only handle 100 pages at a time. However, the Dell B1160W wireless laser printer can only produce monochrome documents and it does not support multifunction features. The unit does not even have a built in duplexer, nor does it have an Ethernet interface for network use.
