Designed for small and personal offices, the Dell E515dw is a reliable multifunction printer with an environmentally friendly design, on-the-go printing features, and a range of connectivity services to help increase productivity and minimise downtime. It can easily adapt to business use as it can deliver most of the features you can expect from an all-in-one printer, but its mediocre speed and below average text quality might make you think twice about it.
Design
The Dell E515dw has a boxy and understated frame that measures 409mm wide, 398.5mm deep, and 316.5mm, and weighs 11.5kg. USB 2.0 is the standard interface. The fax machine can transmit messages in speeds of up to 33.6 Kbps and it can store up to 200 entries in speed dial. The Dell E515dw runs on 64MB RAM and it is powered by a 266MHz processor. The control panel's centrepiece is a two-line LCD screen. The flatbed scanner can handle colour images, and the photocopier can produce up to 99 copies from an original.
Advantages
It prints in speeds of up to 26ppm in a resolution of up to 2400 x 600dpi, and it is capable of faxing, copying, and scanning. Mobile scanning and printing are supported.
