An ideal designated printer for workgroups, the HP Colour LaserJet CP5525n offers networking capability allowing multiple computers to connect to the machine to increase efficiency. It is a good alternative to old inkjet printers, especially for offices that don't have much use for multifunction features like scanning or fax. The machine is a basic, single function that offers excellent print quality. Users choose the HP Colour LaserJet CP5525n over other models because of its versatile media support, fast processor, and high-capacity storage, (8 GB hard drive), although it lacks duplexing capabilities and can only be used through a wired network.
Design
The HP Colour LaserJet CP5525n measures about 21.4x23.1x18.3 inches, and weighs about 117.5 lbs. The HP CP5525n features a built-in status LCD, and uses HP's famous ImageREt 3600 technology, which makes outputs (text, graphics, or photos) come alive. Its speedy operation is all thanks to the 800 MHz processor and 1 GB of built-in RAM.
