This is a great choice of machine for those seeking high-quality multifunction in a sleek modern design. It is perfect for medium-sized businesses or teams. The energy efficiency of the printing unit makes it popular with businesses looking to keep costs down while maintaining their eco credentials. Packed with features to improve productivity and workflow in the office, the HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M577f speeds through print jobs at a rate of up to 59 pages per minute on A5 or 40 pages per minute in A4 mono.

Design

Weighing 38.3 kilograms, with measurements of 48.2 centimetres wide by 50.4 centimetres deep by 58.3 centimetres high, the HP M577f comprises fax, copier, printer and scanner functions within its stylish mezzanine top deck, where the colour touch screen display combines functionality with a modern style that would be at home in any office.

Advantages

From its energy-saving sleep mode, this machine can print your first page in just nine seconds. Simultaneous two side scanning and printing make fast work of big jobs and large documents, and security encryption features protect your business while you work. The unit comes with pre-installed high-yield toner cartridges, which benefit from auto-seal removal for quick, clean changes when the need arises.

Disadvantages

Cartridge detection tech makes it harder for businesses to reduce their cost per page by using non-proprietary brands. However, with a low cost per page for colour prints, the HP Colour LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M577f printer remains an economic option. Not for use in a home environment, it is better suited to larger office spaces due to the size of the unit. The printer is not suitable for large teams, and the standard 550-sheet input tray can mean missed prints, and paper changes are something of a common occurrence in the less attentive office.
