The HP Colour Laserjet Enterprise Flow MFP M577dn is a feature-rich printing, copying and scanning workhorse with an eye-catching, eight-inch touch screen for simple menu navigation and easy inputs. It is perfect for small to medium enterprises that require simplified workflows and enhanced productivity, with a low carbon footprint and running costs. It has a maximum output bin of 250 sheets.
Design
The HP Colour Laserjet Enterprise Flow MFP M577dn measures 48.2 x 50.4 x 58.3cm and has a classic white finish with a sturdy base and multi-use top, with room for additional trays and the large, colour touchscreen. Two standard trays that are supplied with the machine can be increased to a maximum of five. The Laserjet includes 128-bit encrypted wireless for secure mobile printing, while sensitive data can also be protected using embedded security features. An NFC option can be added for touch printing from mobile and tablets. No setup or apps are usually required to support this feature.
Advantages
The M577dn can print 59 pages of A5 paper every minute. It has auto duplex printing, can scan to email and use toner with JetIntelligence for high quality prints. It is considered among the best of the colour MFP printers, with its extensive feature set, such as double side scans with a single pass, a pull-out keyboard and image correction features, which can be applied automatically.
Disadvantages
The HP Colour Laserjet Enterprise flow MFP M577dn has a low capacity for paper compared to other models and its running costs are at the higher end of the spectrum. Output quality and speed may also disappoint compared to other MFPs, though the feature set largely makes up for these shortcomings. Graphics quality can be a little lacking.
