Designed for use in smaller offices and workspaces, the HP M254DW features both wireless and Ethernet connectivity so that you can create the network structure that works best for you and your office. However, it’s not just connectivity this printer is good at. With a first-page print speed of just 10 seconds, this is easily one of the fastest LaserJet printers in its class, even when printing double-sided. There’s also a 250-sheet input tray, helping to ensure the highest levels of productivity possible so that you can easily print out larger jobs without constantly having to get up to add more paper to the tray. Other features, such as a front-facing USB port and a colour touchscreen display, ensure this printer is fully functional in the modern workplace.

Design

The HP Colour Laserjet Pro M254DW measures 392 x 419 x 247.5mm and weighs approximately 14.8kg. With a simple off-white and black colourway, this machine is bound to fit in at any modern workplace, while the 2.6” colour display screen makes navigating the printer easier than ever, ensuring that you can manage tasks quickly and easily and improve workflow overall. Three traditional pushbuttons are located on the left-hand side for home, help and back functions.

Advantages

The combination of high productivity, high speeds, good quality and great connectivity make this a great product for hard-working small offices everywhere. With the fastest two-sided first-page print speed available in its class, a 250-sheet input tray and a monthly duty cycle of up to 40,000 pages per month, this is an extremely hard-working printer. Automatic duplex printing ensures that you will reduce long-term costs and reduce your environmental footprint overall, while the print resolution of 600 x 600dpi in both black-and-white and colour ensures great results.

Disadvantages

If space is really at a premium, some offices might find a HP M254DW too large, while if you’re in the market for a more versatile multifunction printer, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
