The HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M180n is a versatile and flexible workhorse MFP that would work well in smaller offices, home offices and workgroups. Its compact design and small overall footprint mean it is ideal for use in situations where space is at a premium but users still prize productivity and quality. This multifunction printer offers printing, scanning and copying capabilities in one machine and promises a print speed of up to 16ppm in both colour and black and white, as well as a first-page print speed of 11.8 seconds in monochrome and 13.7 seconds in colour.

Design

The HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M180n measures approximately 420 x 435 x 295mm and weighs roughly 15.7kg. The printer features a classic white finish that is sure to fit in seamlessly with almost any office décor and design, while the tilted, front facing display screen and control panel makes navigating the printer easy. There are six pushbuttons to help with navigation and a clearly marked power button.

Advantages

The main advantage to the HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M180n is that it enables smaller offices and organisations to access a multifunctional printer. MFPs can help productivity levels overall while also reducing the amount of space that is utilised by various scanning and copier machines. This multifunction printer delivers on productivity and quality, with a 30,000-page monthly duty cycle, 150-sheet input tray, and 100-sheet output bin, as well as multiple copying capabilities up to 99 copies. In terms of quality and performance, the HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M180n has a print resolution of 600 x 600dpi, a scan resolution of up to 1,200dpi and a copy resolution of 600 x 600dpi. This printer also comes with mobile and cloud printing capabilities and supports HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Google Cloud Print.

Disadvantages

The HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M180n is a hard-working multifunction printer, but there are models in the same class and of a similar price point that offer faster print speeds.
