The HP LaserJet 2100TN is a great personal printer for a student or for the home office. It is a laser monochrome printer that can keep up with light demands and can print at speeds of up to 10 pages per minute. A sharp resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi can be accomplished with every black and white print. At a power consumption rate of 225 watts during operation and 12 watts during sleep, the HP LaserJet 2100TN is certified energy-efficient.

Design

The HP LaserJet 2100TN has a compact design and occupies only a minimal amount of space with dimensions of 40.64 cm in width, 41.91 cm in depth, and 30.98 cm in height. This model of printer is also moderately light at a weight of only 14.37 kg. The printer connects using either an Ethernet connection, parallel connection, or using a wireless router. This printer also has an infrared port built in to the enclosure that will allow printing without wires. An Intel 80960 JD 66 MHz processor is combined with 8 MB of RAM to handle printing and storage. In addition, this printer can be upgraded to 40 MB of RAM for improved performance and additional storage. Furthermore, standard HP 2100TN toner is rated to produce up to 5,000 pages per cartridge with the high capacity HP 2100TNn cartridges producing up to 10,000 pages at 5 per cent coverage.
