Designed for straightforward monochrome printing of business correspondence and professional documents, the HP LaserJet 4 C2001A printer is specifically aimed at small offices that don't need colour printing but would like to have a fast, reliable, and low-cost device. The Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4 C2001A monochrome laser printer is quite affordable, too, but some users may find the print speeds and overall performance to be sub-par.

Design

This 23.1Kg laser printer is an older model with an industrial-style enclosure that measures 18.1 inches wide, 12.5 inches tall, and 20.6 inches deep. The desktop form factor makes the HP LaserJet C2001A printer compact enough for the standard office table. The HP LaserJet 4 comes with a monochrome laser engine, a choice between a serial and parallel interface, and runs on 2MB of standard RAM.
