The HP LaserJet 5000DN is a large-format printer with networking connectivity. This printer is ideal for offices as it delivers crisp text documents and excellent greyscale images plus offers an HP Jetdirect print server card. The HP LaserJet 5000DN has a monthly duty cycle of 65,000 pages and even comes with the convenience of a duplexer. Print speed is slow, and the HP LaserJet 5000DN monochrome laser printer is a bit outdated by modern standards.
Design
The small control panel on the left-hand side of the LaserJet 5000DN printer consists of a monochrome LCD display and function buttons. The HP LaserJet 5000DN printer has a 36 MB memory and comes with a 100-sheet multipurpose tray, 500 sheet tray, and 250 sheet tray. For connectivity, a parallel port is available, and the HP 5000DN LaserJet also has a print server card for networking.
