The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow M830z multifunction printer is aimed at medium to large offices looking for a versatile multifunction device that can improve their productivity and efficiency. Professional finishing, double-sided scanning, and flexible paper handling help save time and money, too, but the mediocre speed and high initial price of the high-volume HP LaserJet M830z laser multifunction printer might make some users think twice about buying it.
Design
This is a large all-in-one machine with a fax, scanner, printer, and copier housed in a 1650mm wide, 1100mm tall, and 715mm deep frame that weighs 204Kg. The centrepiece of the HP M830z mono multifunction printer is the eight-inch SVGA LCD colour touch-screen with a keyboard. It runs on 1.5GB of memory with an 800MHz processor and a 320GB hard disk drive. There are two 500-sheet input trays, a 3,500-sheet high-capacity tray, and a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray. The standard connectivity options of the HP Enterprise Flow M830z include Wi-Fi, two high-speed USB 2.0 host ports, a high-speed USB 2.0 device, a foreign interface, two internal USB hosts, and Gigabit Ethernet.
Advantages
This model is great for high volume usage. EveryPage technology is built into the device for easy detection of missing pages and potential errors while scanning. Disadvantages
