Design

The 102.42Kg HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725z+ has a sleek and elegant monochromatic frame that measures 745mm wide, 681mm deep, and 1192mm tall. There is a 33.6Kbps fax machine with a 100-page memory, a digital copier, and a flatbed scanner with an RADF. Up to 3500 sheets can be handled by the high-capacity input tray stand and feeder. Two standard 250-sheet input trays are also included, and the two output bins can handle up to 750 sheets together. The LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725z+ mono laser printer runs on a Gigabyte of memory, is powered by an 800MHz processor, and stores data in a 320GB hard disk drive. Connectivity is via two high-speed USB 2.0 host ports, a high-speed USB 2.0 device, one foreign interface, two internal USB host ports, one hardware integration pocket, and a Gigabit Ethernet network.

Advantages

The 20.3cm rotating and adjustable LCD touchscreen simplifies on-board operations. Paper handling is versatile and the maximum input capacity is 4,600 sheets. Scanning jobs can be previewed and edited in the HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725z+, printing policies can be centralised, and sensitive business documents can be safeguarded by authentication features. The HP M725z+ printer also has a 3,500-sheet high capacity feeder and stand. Interruptions are minimised by high capacity HP M725z+ print cartridges, and the workload is simplified by the built-in stapler. The energy-saving features of the HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M725z+ include auto on/off technology, two-sided printing, and the optional EcoSMART Fleet.

Disadvantages

Colour printing is absent in the HP LaserJet MFP M725z+ workgroup printer. The device itself is expensive, and optional wireless features make it even pricier. The fax memory of the LaserJet M725z+ multifunction printer is not enough for bulk messaging and high resolution printing.
