Design
The P2050 yields up to 50,000 pages in its monthly duty cycle and has a 35 page per minute print speed as it churns out its first page in as fast as 8 seconds. Built-in duplex technology saves paper by printing on both sides of the paper. Easily handling multiple media sizes including letter, legal, executive, index cards and envelopes as well as others in its standard 2 trays with up to 300 sheet capacity. An optional 3rd tray extends the paper stock capacity if needed with an additional 500 sheet tray. You're also not limited to media weights so go economical and use recycled to save the environment and money. All of this fits in a compact package that doesn't take up a lot of space with a small footprint that won't get it your way.
Advantages

The lack of networking in the P2050d version (included in the P2050dn for an extra cost) is debilitating to an office environment. If only USB print sharing is available, a dedicated server computer would have to be set up to host the printer in an office environment. The HP P2050 toner cartridge that comes with each model is the low yield 05A version instead of the higher yield 05X. For more than double the toner capacity, it would be economical to go with the higher capacity HP P2050 toner after burning through the included low-yield toner.
